Since the rulings of Wayfair vs North Dakota, online marketplaces such as BikeReg need to start collecting and remiting sales tax on behalf of the sellers. In the case of BikeReg the sellers are the event directors selling entrance to the events and also merchandise.
BikeReg decided to partner up with a sales tax rate api to be able to provide the most up to date rates to its users.
